Make the holiday season happening!

There is no doubt you’re planning how to keep entertained, active and eating well over the holiday period (as well as how to keep yourself on track). Here are some helpful tips and advice.

Easy ways to keep on track

If the holiday season has broken your routine, you might need a few pointers to keep you on track – here are a handful of ideas.

  • Have a living-room disco

Put some music on and have a living room disco. Just 30 minutes on your new dance floor can burn up extra calories – and it’s great fun too.

  • Use the food diary

If you are disappointed with your progress, remember to check in to record how well you followed the meal and exercise plans. It’ll help you see when you slip up, so you can plan ahead for those times when you struggle to keep on track.

  • Make this year different

Start by making your own list of things you want to gain to help you stick with your resolutions. Write them down and read them every day and you’ll be ticking them off in no time!

  • Plan ahead

If you’re tempted by leftovers, fill your cupboard with pre-portioned snacks like snack bars, instant-soups, unsalted nuts and seeds. That way, when the munchies strike, you'll be armed and ready!
